TOWN ANNOUNCES SCHOOL COMMITTEE VACANCY
Chairman of the Board of Selectmen John Barry and School Committee
Chair Elizabeth Corbo have jointly announced that the Selectmen and
School Committee will meet jointly to appoint a new School Committee
member to fill the vacancy of Dr. Stephanie Gertz.
“We are grateful for the enthusiasm and dedication of Dr. Gertz, and
offer her thanks on behalf of the Hanover community,” said the
Chairs in a joint statement. “We look forward to working together to
appoint a new member with a similar positive outlook that will help
usher the schools into a new era of success,” they continued.
Interested Hanover residents should send a letter of interest to the
Office of the Selectmen, 550 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339, by
September 19th. The Selectmen and School Committee are working to
select a date for interviews and appointment of the new committee
member, who will serve until the next town election in May. For more
