The Hanover Food Pantry is running low

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Hanover Food Pantry is swamped with requests for food, and their
shelves are emptying fast. Several new families have signed up in the
past few months along with many clients who have returned for services
and the pantry is now running low on everything.
Please do what you can to donate to the food pantry within the next
week or two.
They particularly need:
Pasta Sauce (NO Pasta, please), Rice, Juice, Baked Beans, Jelly,
Peanut Butter, Cookies, Crackers, Cereal, Canned Fruit, Cream Soups
(Tomato, Cream of Mushroom or Celery), Canned Ham or Spam (Lite),
School Snacks and Drink Boxes.
Paper products and personal items:
Tooth paste, Shaving Cream, Soap (no Ivory Please), Deodorant, Shampoo
and Conditioner, Dish Detergent, Laundry Detergent, Toilet Paper,
Facial Tissues, Paper Towels.
The pantry is open for in-gathering Mondays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
weekly. Please do not arrive with donations on Wednesdays as they are
distributing and need privacy for their clients. There are drop off
sites at the library, Shaw’s, Stop and Shop in Norwell and any of the
churches in town.
For more information, please contact Sally Lovett Boutin at
kidsense@comcast.net
or Barbara Itz, Pantry Co-Chairs.
