Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Working cooperatively with the Massachusetts Department of
Environmental Protection (MA DEP) and the Massachusetts Department of
Public Health (MDPH), the Town of Hanover has scheduled an
informational public meeting to discuss the National Fireworks Site.
“Recently, with the leadership of the Board of Selectmen, we sent
out over 6,000 newsletters to engage and inform the public on this
important local issue,” said Town Manager Troy Clarkson. “This
public meeting is a continuation of our efforts to enhance
communication with the residents of Hanover, and we are grateful that
the MA DEP and MDPH share that commitment,” he continued.
The meeting will be held at the Hanover High School at 7:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, November 14th. Representatives from the MA DEP and MDPH
will provide updates and be available for questions.
A stated goal of the Board of Selectmen is to improve communication
with the community. For more information, please contact Town Manager
Troy Clarkson at (781) 826-2261 or troy.clarkson@hanover-ma.gov
