High School soccer and cheerleading updates

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The end-of-the-season reports are coming in fast! Thanks to Geoff
Hoffman for the following information:
“After enjoying a bye, the Hanover boys soccer team will face
Dover-Sherborn on Sunday at Hanover HS at 5:00 p.m. Dover-Sherborn
beat Sturgis today 4-0.
Hanover girls soccer defeated Case HS today by a score of 3-0, and
will play Sunday at Norwell HS at 12 noon (previously scheduled for
1:00 p.m. on Sunday, so please note the time change to noon on
Sunday). During the game vs. Case today, there was a pretty
significant head to head injury incident in the 2nd half to players on
each team. Here’s hoping for speedy healing and recovery for both
players!
Please come out and support each team if you can. Norwell HS might as
well be a home field. No Patriots football this weekend so why not
Hanover soccer.”
And thanks to Joanne Collins for this information:
“On Saturday, October 27, 2012 the Hanover High School Cheerleaders
participated in the Invitational and Patriot League Championship
cheerleading competition at Whitman Hanson High School. The Hanover
athletes qualified to move on to the MSSAA South Regional Cheer
Tournament which is scheduled for Sunday, November 11, 2012 at S.
Dartmouth High School.”
