Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Join the Open Space Committee for a Presidents’ Day walk, this Monday,
February 18th, at 10:00 a.m. With all the snow we’ve had this past
week (and are forecasted to have as I write this!), we should enjoy
it!
Wear your snowshoes or sturdy waterproof boots. The group will meet at
Forge Pond Park on King Street.
The group will start with a loop around Clark Bog. Stop there, and
either continue on a trip to edge of town on historic National
Fireworks roads all the way to the Rockland line and back on a scenic
P loop, or stay closer to the parking lot and check out the almost 1
mile loop around our emerging ball fields.
Stay informed about Hanover Open Space Committee’s activities and
volunteer opportunities: you can find them on Facebook: Hanover Open
Space, or join the Yahoo Group: HanoverOpenSpace. The committee would
like to hear from you if you are interested in more information on
their work. The Open Space Committee meets regularly on the 1st Monday
of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Hanover Town Hall.
