The Spirit of Hanover Community Service Award Committee is accepting
nominations for the recipient of the 12th Annual Spirit of Hanover
Community Service Award.
This Award is presented annually to an individual who best exemplifies
the spirit of Hanover by voluntarily giving selflessly of their time,
energy and talent to the Town and its citizens thus enriching our
lives, fostering a true sense of community and inspiring us all to a
higher level of service.
Nominations should be in writing and should articulate *in detail* how
the nominee satisfies these criteria. Nominees from prior years are
not considered for this year’s award unless re-nominated.
Nominations must be received by not later than March 21, 2013 and
should be addressed to:

Past recipients of the Award include Mrs. Virginia Szejnar, Mrs.
Barbara Barker, Mr. Richard “Dick” Eaton, Mrs. Jean Migre, Mrs.
Lois Van Doren, Mr. John Thomson, Mrs. Barbara Itz, Mrs. Catherine
Harder-Bernier, Mrs. Joanne B. Cure, Mr. Harold (Hal) D. Thomas, and
Mr. Roger A. Leslie, Sr.
Receipt of the Award is commemorated with a reception and by having
the recipients name inscribed on a perpetual plaque which is
prominantly displayed in the foyer of the Town Hall.
