Summer reading kickoff at the John Curtis Library

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The John Curtis Library will officially begin its children’s summer
reading program on Thursday, July 11 at 11:00 a.m. Davis Bates and
Roger Tincknell will present “Earth Rhythms: Stories and Songs for
the Whole Earth.” The concert celebrates reading while exploring the
diversity and wonder of the natural world. Davis tells entertaining
stories from around the world while Roger plays a wide variety of
musical instruments. Bates and Tincknell have performed at the library
several times in recent years to very enthusiastic audiences.

Registration for the library’s summer reading program will begin
immediately after the concert. The program is appropriate for all
ages. Free tickets are available at the children’s room desk. For
more information please call 781-826-2972, extension 4, or e-mail

.

This program is funded by a grant from the Hanover Cultural Council, a
local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state
agency, and by the Friends of the John Curtis Free Library.
