The cupola, privatization of the transfer station, and road reconstruction

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

On Monday, April 14, the cupola that graces the top of Hanover’s historic
Town Hall will be removed due to structural concerns. A crane will arrive
approximately 7:30 a.m. Come witness an important day in Hanover’s history
and find out where the cupola will be stored as we await the repairs.

Also on Monday the 14th, the Board of Public Works, Planning Board and
Board of Selectmen will meet at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall to discuss, among
other topics:
1) The potential privatization of the transfer station
2) Road and sidewalk reconstruction projects in Hanover that may result
in, among other options, dispensing with granite curbing and instead using
“Cape Cod berms”.

Busy day on Monday!
