Dear fellow Hanoverians:
State Representative Rhonda L. Nyman (D-Hanover) announced today that she
has secured the 2013 Boston Red Sox World Series Trophy for Hanover Day on
June 21.
Rep. Nyman will be sponsoring the trophy with State Senator Thomas P.
Kennedy (D-Brockton).
The trophy will be available for viewing on a first-come, first-serve basis
from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 at Sylvester Field, where
Hanover Day is held.
“I am thrilled that I was able to work with the Boston Red Sox
organization to have the 2013 World Series Trophy visit us at Hanover
Day,” said Rep. Nyman. “This is a wonderful event that brings the whole
community together and I hope that people of all ages will join us to enjoy
the trophy.”
“A tremendous amount of planning and preparation goes into Hanover Day,
and I am grateful for the organizers’ commitment to this terrific
community event,” added Sen. Kennedy. “I hope the World Series Trophy
will be another big draw at this already well-attended celebration.”
