Volunteers wanted for Habitat for Humanity local partnership committee

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

South Shore Habitat for Humanity will hold an informational meeting on
Wednesday, May 7th at 6:30 PM at the Riley Parish Hall, 547 Hanover Street
next to the First Congregational Church in Hanover to discuss and implement
the formation of a Local Partnership Committee (LPC) for the Hanover
community. As South Shore Habitat for Humanity looks forward to breaking
ground on Center Street this spring, this session will inform and inspire
potential volunteers, local businesses and community leaders to get
involved in the continued building and fundraising efforts for this
affordable two home project. These two homes will bring the count to four
Habitat homes in Hanover.

South Shore Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers to join the LPC
to help solicit financial contributions and sponsorships, as well as,
in-kind donations of building materials, skilled labor, and lunches for
volunteers all needed to build these homes. These donations help to keep
the home affordable that will be sold to local families. Anyone interested
in volunteering on the build site, helping with the fundraising effort or
outreaching into the community is welcome to join them on Wednesday, May 7,
2014 at 6:30 PM.
