September events for teens

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
September Events for Teens at the John Curtis Free Library

Teen Advisory Board Thursday 09/04/14 3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

The TAB is a group of young people interested in the programs and book
selections for the library. The group meets once a month to discuss current
reads, to share new program ideas or to make items for future programs.
Most of all, the group is FUN! There is no pressure to attend but it is
important for the library to know how it’s doing with the books and
programs we are offering. Snacks provided. (Grades 6 and up)

Book Discussion Group for Teens Wednesday 09/17/14 4:15 p.m. –
5:15 p.m.

The John Curtis Free Library will be holding a book discussion group
specifically for teens beginning this month. The choice for this month is
“A Great and Terrible Beauty” by Libba Bray. Copies are available at
the Reference Desk for checkout.

Teen/Tween Craft Saturday 09/27/14 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Reference/Teen Librarian Donald will be hosting a craft project for teens
and tweens. Clay pens (and more) will be the craft for this month.
Registration is required. You can register by emailing Donald at
dcolon@ocln.org; calling 781-826-2972; or by stopping by the Reference
Desk. (Ages 10 and up)

For more information about any of these programs, e-mail Donald at
dcolon@ocln.org .
