Halloween week events at the library

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Children’s Halloween Parties at the John Curtis Free Library

On Wednesday, October 29 there will be two Halloween parties at the
library. At 2:00 p.m. there is a party for children age one to three, with
games, stories, and snacks. At 4:30 p.m. there is a party for children
four and older, with “slightly spooky” activities and entertainment.
Children should attend in costume.

Also that same week, a
Puppet Show at John Curtis Free Library

Vermont PuppeTree will present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” on
Saturday, November 1 at 3:00 p.m. The show is a multimedia shadow puppet
performance based on the Washington Irving story—a perfect way to wrap up
Halloween weekend. The program is funded by the Friends of the Library.

Please register for both programs online from the library’s website, at
the children’s room desk, or by calling 781-826-2972, extension 4. For
more information, please e-mail lcampbell@ocln.org .
