Learn to ski and snowboard with Park and Rec!

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Hanover Parks and Recreation presents
Blue Hills Ski and Snowboard Lessons!

Once again this winter Parks and Rec will be offering ski and snowboard
lessons at Blue Hills! Children ages 7-15 are eligible. Buses will leave
the Rec Center at 3:15 p.m. sharp on Tuesday afternoons. 75 minute lessons
will begin at 4:30 p.m., and buses will depart from Blue Hills at 6:00
p.m., arriving back at the Rec Center at 6:45-7:00 p.m. (due to traffic
time may vary by a few minutes). This year Blue Hills is including a
voucher to come back and ski or snowboard during the 2015 winter season!
Children can choose to bring or rent equipment. Helmets are not required,
however they are STRONGLY encouraged. Classes will take place for 5
Tuesdays starting January 6th. The group will be sharing a bus and
traveling with Rockland again this year! Every participant will be given a
Blue Hills Pass to be worn during lessons, which is their pass to ski or
snowboard. All participants will wear a Hanover Park and Rec vest to
clearly define them as part of the group. Participants do not need to
bring cell phones to our programs. Park and Rec is not responsible for
lost or damaged cell phones.

When: Tuesdays 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27 and 2/3 (additional weeks will be
added on if there are weather closings, an email and phone call will go out
to notify participants if the mountain cancels a lesson due to inclement
weather).

p.m. depending on traffic (they will post on their Facebook page when they
leave the mountain)
