Transition Planning and Post-Secondary Life
The Role of Area Agencies

Description:
The transition to adulthood can invoke feelings of uncertainty in both
adolescents and caregivers alike. Join us for important and interactive
discussion about the role of agencies such as Massachusetts Rehabilitation
Commission (MRC) and Department of Developmental Services (DDS) in
transition planning and post-secondary life for students with disabilities.
Topics include eligibility requirements, the eligibility determination
process and what supports and services are available.
Presented by: Peter Allard from Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and
Maureen Cavicchi from Department of Developmental Services
