Teen programs at the library

Below please find a list of upcoming events for teens at the John Curtis
Free Library. Registration for these programs can be done by visiting the

Introductory Chess Class
Tuesday, December 30, 2014
3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Join them on school vacation week for an introduction to the game of chess.
This program will be put on by local Hanover residents Joe De Ferrari and
Alex Lawson. Registration is required. Open to all skill levels.

Hunger Games Trivia
Saturday, January 3, 2015
10:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m.
Your skills and knowledge of the Hunger Games series will be challenged!
Jeopardy style game, snacks, prizes, and fun! Registration is required.
Ages 11 and up.

Teen Anime/Manga Club
The John Curtis Free Library will begin holding a Teen Anime/Manga club on
Saturday January 3, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The group will meet to
discuss their interests in anime/manga books, movies, and more.

At this first meeting, they will be showing “Grave of the Fireflies”
(89 mins, unrated) Snacks will be provided.

Movie Showing—Napoleon Dynamite
Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 4:00 p.m. (Rated PG, 96 mins) Starring Jon Heder
Efren Ramirez. Snacks will be provided.
