Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Please join Ken Gloss, proprietor of the internationally known Brattle Book
Shop in Boston, on Tuesday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the John Curtis
Library. Ken has made frequent appearances on PBS’ Antiques Roadshow
where he’s been a guest appraiser. His popular presentations are filled
with anecdotes and memories of the books and ephemera that he’s acquired
over the years.
Following the talk and Q&A session, Ken shall give free verbal appraisals
of all the books and documents that attendees have brought with them. This
event is sponsored by the Friends of the John Curtis Library and there is
no charge for admission. For further information, please call the library
at 781-826-2972 or e-mail lwelsh@ocln.org .
