Traditional Anglican service at St. Andrew’s features “Magnificat”

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

On Sunday, February 22nd at 4:00 p.m., St. Andrew’s
Episcopal Church will offer a service of “Evensong” that is open to
the public.  This service comes from the old Anglican tradition.  The
group Magnificat will sing various parts of the liturgy.  Musical
selections will include: “Christ Whose Glory Fills the Skies”, by
T.F.H. Candlyn, “Magnificat” and “Nunc Dimittis in F”
by Harold Friedell, and the anthem “Let all Mortal Flesh Keep Silence”
by Edward Bairstow.  There is no charge, but donations will be welcome to
help support Magnificat of Boston.  A reception will follow in the
parish hall.  St. Andrew’s is located at 17 Church Street.  Parking
is available in the Tedeschi’s lot at the back of the church.
