Dear fellow Hanoverians:
South Shore Hospital has informed the Hanover Senior Center that the
hospital nursery is in desperate need of hand-knit baby items such as
blankets and hats. The knitting group at the Senior Center would therefore
appreciate donations of pastel baby yarn (“pound of love” is a great brand)
so they can provide lovely hand–knit items for these newborns.
All yarn donations can be dropped off at the Hanover Senior Center at 665
Center Street, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please
contact the Senior Center at 781-924-1913 for more information, or email
Teresa Slight at teresa.slight@hanover-ma.gov.
