Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Hanover Open Space Committee is requesting volunteers to help with
trail clean-up at conservation properties in town. The winter has left many
downed limbs and branches. We will be leading a group on Wednesday
morning, April 6 at 9:00 am, and again on Saturday, April 9 at 9:00 am. We
will meet at the Town Hall parking lot and will carpool to Denham Pond
Trails on Circuit Street, and perhaps other properties. If you have
equipment, please bring clippers, chainsaws, brush cutters, etc. We will
have extra tools for those who need them. Please remember to wear sturdy
shoes, gloves, and insect/tick repellant. This is a great opportunity to
help with trail upkeep, explore our conservation areas, and meet other
like-minded volunteers. For more information, please contact

On Wednesday, April 13 and Saturday, April 16, the Hanover Open Space
Committee will be leading guided walks on the Denham Pond Trails property
on Circuit Street. We will meet at the Town Hall parking lot at 9:30 am
and carpool (parking is limited at the trail site). This lovely
conservation area includes a pond and vernal pools. Naturalist leaders
will point out signs of spring along the way. Our walk will be a little
less than one mile round trip. Please join us for this great welcome to to
spring! Sturdy walking shoes and insect/tick repellant are recommended.
