Nomination papers for town-wide elected positions available

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

 

Nomination papers for town-wide elected positions are now
available in the Town Clerk’s Office.  There are two important
deadlines associated with this process.  Nomination papers must be
obtained from the Clerk’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday,
March 19th.  Candidates are required to obtain legible
signatures from 50 registered Hanover voters on the nomination papers. 
Those signatures then need to be submitted to the Board of Registrar’s
Office for certification by Tuesday, March 24th at 5:00 p.m.  Candidates
are encouraged to get extra signatures just in case!

 

The elected positions that are up for grabs this year are:

OF ASSESSORS (3 YEAR TERM)

 

         & nbsp;     BOARD
OF PUBLIC WORKS (3 YEAR TERM)

 

         & nbsp;     HOUSING
AUTHORITY (5 YEAR TERM)

 

         & nbsp;     MODERATOR
(1 YEAR TERM)

 

         & nbsp;     PLANNING
BOARD (5 YEAR TERM)

 

         & nbsp;     (2)
SCHOOL COMMITTEE (3 YEARS)

 

         & nbsp;     TRUSTEE
OF PUBLIC LIBRARY (3 YEARS)

 

         & nbsp;     BOARD
OF SELECTMEN (3 YEARS)

 

         & nbsp;     BOARD
OF HEALTH (3 YEARS)
