First Congregational Church program this Thursday

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Hanover&#821 7;s
First Congregational Church will present a program this Thursday called
“DEALING WITH STRESS, WORRIES AND ANXIETY IN THESE TROUBLING
TIMES”.  Brita Gil Austern is the Austin Philip Guiles Professor
of Psychology and Pastoral Care at Andover Newton Theological School.
Brita will share some approaches and strategies drawn from long established and
time honored spiritual practices that will help to ground us and center us when
the world around us seems to be overwhelming and spinning out of control.

This
program, which is part of the church’s series on “Walking the Path
to Healing, Wholeness and Holiness”, will be held at 7:00 p.m.
on March 5th at the Riley Parish Hall.  It will be offered along
with the indoor Labyrinth that will be open from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00
p.m. for reflection, meditation, prayer and rest for your soul.  There is
no charge for this program and refreshments will be served.  For more
information, contact the church office at 781-826-4762.  For information
on other programs and events visit their website at www.fcchanoverucc.org .
