Hanover’s Greatest Generation detailed just in time for Independence Day

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

I just spent a thoroughly enjoyable half an hour watching a Hanover
Community Television video. The video features four of Hanover’s finest
citizens – Kenton Greene, Eleanor Kimball, Lorine Bergeron and John
Thomson. The four kindly detailed the history of and discussed some of the
names of the Hanover residents commemorated on the World War II boards that
have been restored and hung in Town Hall.

I heartily encourage you to take a moment this weekend as we celebrate our
country’s Independence Day to learn something about Hanover’s Greatest
Generation. The video may be found here:

. My hat is off and tears are in my eyes as I contemplate their
contributions.

Thanks to Ken, Ellie, Lorine and Jack for the gift of their time and
recollections, too. This project is absolutely priceless!
