NHS collects Cell Phones for Soldiers

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

As part of their National Honors Society project, Hanover High School
students JuliAnna Picardi and Gabrielle Manupelli will be collecting cell
phones for soldiers. These phones may be dropped off at Hanover High School
and/or Curry Hardware in Hanover. The drop off dates are now thru March
31st. The phones can range from flip phones to iPhones.

Cell Phones for Soldiers is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to
providing cost-free communication services and emergency funding to
active-duty military members and veterans.

Since 2004, Cell Phones For Soldiers…
• Has provided more than 300 million minutes of free talk time.
• Has assisted more than 3,100 veterans and their families with emergency
funding.
• Recycled more than 15 million cell phones, reducing the impact on
landfills.
• Mailed approximately 1,500 calling cards each week.
