“A Night at the Races” with the Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The Hanover Education Foundation invites residents to attend
its annual benefit “A Night at the Races”.  Enjoy all the
anticipation and excitement of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, March 21, at the
Knight of Columbus Hall, Route 130, Pembroke. Gather with friends and neighbors
to watch our pre-recorded horse races and cheer your favorite horse or jockey
to the finish line in the Race for the Roses!  Everyone in the audience
will experience all the heart-pounding action as if they were actually at the
race track.

Hosted by our own State Representative Robert Nyman, all
proceeds go to support the Foundation’s Grant Awards Program. Since its
inception, the Foundation has worked to raise more than $200,000 toward
innovative opportunities which benefit children throughout the schools
including: Rachel’s Challenge, Food Play, the Clothesline Project.,
Amazing Hero Art, Lego Robotics, and Smart Music.

Betting windows open at 6:30 PM and horses leave the
starting gate at 7:30. Throughout the evening guests will be offered
opportunities to win an assortment of fabulous prizes including a golf outing
for four at the Harmon Golf Course, tickets to the Boston Ballet’s
Sleeping Beauty, Huntington, Wheelock, and American Repertory Theatres, museum
passes to the New England Aquarium and Plimoth Plantation, memberships to the
South Shore Natural Science Center and the YMCA, an autographed baseball by Red
Sox relief pitcher Hideki Okajima and much more.

Admission is only $10 per person and includes pizza,
appetizers, dessert, and coffee.  Tickets can be reserved and will be
held at the door by e-mailing annelorge@comcast.net.
Tickets can also be purchased through the schools or at the door.  For
more information, please call (781) 826-8558.

Please join us for “A Night at the Races” and
help support Hanover’s children and education.
