Robotics Team plans to rumble this weekend

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Special thanks to Kurt Giessler, Hanover High Robotics Advisor, for this update
regarding the Robotics Team!

The students of the Hanover High Robotics Team have been working
endlessly since the beginning of January to design, engineering, and fabricate
a powerful spinning drum robot called "The Bull".  Thousands of
man (and woman!) hours have now been dedicated to the project, and this
Saturday, March 21st, they have their first competition test of the
“bot” at Plymouth North’s "Rumble at the Rock"
tournament.  The event is open to the public and the team highly
encourages you to see their work, and the work of high school students across
the Eastern seaboard, in battle.  The event starts at 9:00 a.m. and will
go until 4:00 p.m. at Plymouth North High School.  More details and
directions can be found here: http://hano verhsengineering.org/upcoming_events.html

Please take a look at the website they have created  at http://hanoverhsengineering.org / to
see pictures of the team, info about the students, and a list of their gracious
and generous sponsors.  Thank you so much for your support; the Robotics
team’s successes would have been impossible without your contributions.

I personally got a kick out of reading the student bios… I have known some
of them since they were knee high to a grasshopper!  Check it out!
