Public Invited – Free Lecture
What: “Down Back”
When: Tuesday, February 5th, 2019, 7:15 p.m.
Where: Phoenix Lodge, Broadway and Washington Streets
The Walnut Hill Garden Club of Hanover invites interested members of the
public to a free lecture and slide show, “Down Back” to be presented by
local wildlife artist and photographer, Randy Julius, as he speaks of the
inspiration he finds in his own backyard and the nearby woods, fields,
marshes, ponds and rivers. His colorful presentation is illustrated with
wildlife photographs, landscapes and people enjoying the outdoors.

Randy is an outdoor columnist for the Brockton Enterprise and Patriot
Ledger, an eight-time winner of the state waterfowls stamp competition,
designer of first wildlands conservation stamp for the Massachusetts
Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, and president of New England Outdoor
Writers Association, to name a few of his involvements. He is also a
member of Dale & the Duds classic rock and roll band. Randy is well known
among wildlife artists in Massachusetts. In addition to his duck stamps, he
has been commissioned to design the Sponsor Print for Ducks Unlimited and
he is, through donations of his art, a major supporter of projects and
programs that benefit wildlife in Massachusetts.
