Dear fellow Hanoverians:
This just in! Due to the Saturday, March 2nd snowstorm that is predicted
as I write this, the Open Space trail walk scheduled to be held on Saturday
has been changed. The Open Space Committee will be hosting a SNOWSHOE
trail walk, as follows:
Join the Open Space Committee for snowshoe walk in the conservation areas
surrounding Forge Pond Park on SUNDAY, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. A shorter or
longer walk is available. First walk is 1.2 miles round-trip from the field
to the French’s Stream Bridge. For those who would like to continue, we
will walk through the woods to Clark Bog, for a total of 2.5 miles
round-trip. Park in Lot A at the park, 245 King Street. Equipment will not
be provided (but cider and donuts will!). Maps and more information are
available at www.hanover-ma.gov/open-space-committee, or you may contact
hanovertrailwalkers@gmail.com.
