Dear fellow Hanoverians:
“Mercy Sews” is an outreach ministry formed at the Holy Mothers
Collaborative in Hanover/Norwell to sew simple dresses and receiving
blankets for children in Africa. They have shipped more than 5,000 articles
of clothing to the Central African Republic over the past three years. They
invite women of all faiths to join them as they work on their 2019
shipment. Please join them at their “measure and cut” workshop to
assemble dress kits for sewing on Thursday, March 14th from 10:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center on Route 139 in Hanover. You do not
need to sew to help!
If you would like more information on the ministry and its mission, please
email Clare Noonan at mercysews@comcast.net .
