Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment (HFEE) is pleased to
announce and invites you to attend a complimentary presentation called
Angst, Raising Awareness Around Anxiety at Hanover High School on May 2nd
at 6:30 p.m. Angst is a film that explores anxiety, its causes, effects
and what we can do about it. The filmmakers’ goal is to have a global
conversation and raise awareness around anxiety. Angst features candid
interviews with kids and young adults who suffer, or have suffered, from
anxiety and what they’ve learned about it. The film includes discussions
with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological
effects, as well as help, resources and tools. Following the film we will
have a discussion with a panel made up of mental health staff from Hanover
High School, Hanover Middle School and Dr. Julie Love, psychiatric nurse
practitioner from McLean Hospital.
HFEE’s objective is to raise funds for education enrichment programs that
benefit all Hanover students. For more information about the Angst event,
or how you can get involved with HFEE or how to donate, email President Sue
DiTullio at hanoverfoundation@gmail.com or visit our website at hfeema.org
