What a difference the interval of a month makes. Two months ago on March
13, 2020, at the beginning of our understanding of what the pandemic would
look like, Hanover Schools were closed. Town Hall closed to the public
shortly thereafter. Our world certainly changed since then.
A month later on April 13th, the application for the first-ever Early
Ballots by Mail for the June 27th, 2020 Annual Town Election became
available right here on ATOTW. Since then we’ve seen Candidate’s Night via
Zoom and Candidate Information Sheets sent via ATOTW. For more information

. We’ve sent out over 300 ballots to date – a good start!
So, I’ll suggest that today, another month later, May 13th, is the day to
request your Early Ballot by Mail. We’re just over 6 weeks away from
Election Day, and the complete request-return process could take a month.
We’ve got two competitive races – for Selectman and with the recent
addition of a declared write-in candidate, also for School Committee. For
