Check out these new and returning programs for kids at the John Curtis
Library!
Sing With Your Baby with Julie Stepanek: Thursday, January 20, 2:00 – 2:45
p.m.
Sing With Your Baby is a participatory music program for children 0-3 and
their caregivers. This program features finger plays, singable songs and
integrated movement. It can be upbeat or laid-back, depending on the
audience. Julie Stepanek provides shakers, scarves and percussive
instruments and leads with ukulele and voice.
Children’s Spanish Class: Thursdays, 4:00 – 4:40 p.m., January 20 –
February 17
Instructor Kendelle Ingram will teach Spanish for ages 4 to 6 years,
incorporating stories, songs, and games, with a different theme each time.

Children’s Yoga Class: Mondays, 11:00 – 11:45 a.m., through February 14
Children’s Yoga with Christine Walker of Little Bee Yoga Company is up
and running again! Open to all ages, yoga is now drop-in, no registration
needed.
The library’s regular weekly drop-in story times continue in person.
Story time for 3 and 4 years, Mondays 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.; Patty-Cake for
babies up to 17 months, Mondays 11:00 – 11:20 a.m.; Toddler Time for 18 to
35 months, Wednesdays 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.
The good folks at the library have also reactivated links to all the story
times they filmed last year for any families who are unable to attend
in-person story times. Please go to the Children’s Room section of the
library’s website and scroll all the way to the bottom to watch them at
any time.
The music program, Spanish, and Yoga are all funded by the Friends of the
Library.
