Vote by Mail postcards

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Town Clerk Catherine Harder-Bernier announced today that postage paid Vote
by Mail postcard applications began to be received in the mailboxes of
registered Hanover voters this past week. If you want to vote in either
the September State Primary and/or the November State Election, tear off
the “I Want to Vote” postcard end, and complete all 5 numbered steps, as
below.

1 – Check your voter information. Do you want your ballot mailed to this
address? If not, fill in the alternate address. Otherwise, you can leave
this blank.

2 – Check off which election or elections you want to vote in. September
Primary? November State Election? Both? Hanover does not currently have
any other elections this year, but you can check off “all 2022 Elections”
and it will mean “both”.

3 – Are you “unenrolled”, commonly known as “independent”? Make sure you
check off which party ballot you would like to receive in September. If
your “Voter Information” has you listed in a party, then that is the ballot
you will receive. Want a different party’s ballot? You need to first
change your party registration by going to:

. Checking the “other” party’s ballot on the postcard will not get you
that alternate ballot unless you change your party registration first.

4 – Add your phone number. This is helpful in case we have questions for
you about your application. We appreciate e-mail addresses, too.

5 – We can’t send you a ballot without your signature. :)

When you are done, you can put the postage paid postcard in US Mail or drop
it in the front door mail slot of Hanover Town Hall. Holler with your
questions. The Town Clerk’s Office phone number is 781-826-5000 x1079 .
