Dear fellow Hanoverians:
A new series of programs is coming to Hanover! Compassionate Conversations
will be co-led by Tammy Murray, LCSW and Hanover Unity. Each month with
have a different topic. There will be a speaker and/or video/slideshow to
help guide thoughtful and meaningful dialog about varying topics. The
programs will be held the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the
Council on Aging, 665 Center Street in Hanover. There will be babysitting
available free of charge. Please come! Hanover Unity Council is looking
for future topics too. If you have an idea or a specialty that you would
like to suggest, please reach out to hanoverunitycouncil@gmail.com .
This upcoming Wednesday, September 21st at 6:30 p.m. will be hosted by
Hanover Pride at the COA. There will be discussions about terminology, and
how to ask someone their pronouns and other questions that come up. This is
a safe space, and all are welcome to attend, listen and learn. If you have
a LGBTQ+ loved one or friend in your life, or want to learn more about
being an ally, come join this Compassionate Conversation!
