Child and Adult Book Club at John Curtis Library

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Child and Adult Book Club at John Curtis Library

The children’s department is planning to restart a monthly book club for
children ages 9 to 11, accompanied by a parent or other adult
relative/caregiver/companion. This group has run successfully many times
over the years.
The group votes on what book to read each month, choosing from suggestions
made by the children’s librarian and group members. At each meeting there
is discussion of the book, accompanied by snacks.

Book Club will meet one Tuesday evening per month, from 7:00 to 7:45 p.m.
The preliminary meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 18, at which time
members will discuss how they wish to run things and choose the first book
to read.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact the children’s
librarian at lcampbell@ocln.org or 781-826-2972, extension 5.
