Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Selectmen’s Office would like to remind all voters
that Annual Town Meeting will continue on Monday, May 11th at 7:00
p.m. at the high school. Under Section 3, Subsection 13 of the town
bylaws, a quorum of one hundred (100) registered voters is necessary to
commence each session of Town Meeting. Please plan on attending as there
are many articles still to be voted on.
As a reminder from yours truly, articles that have been
voted during the first two nights of Town Meeting can be brought up for
re-consideration and potentially overturned anytime before the Town Meeting is
officially ended. So, just because “your” article has been
voted on doesn’t mean you should not attend again! Besides, it is
in the best interest of the town to have a large cross-section of residents in
attendance every night. We ALL benefit from your participation. See
