Dear fellow Hanoverians:
In celebration of their 10th anniversary, the Silver Street Thrift Shop of
the First Congregational Church of Hanover will be offering 50% off on
selected items this Saturday, October 11th. Since 2015, the shop has been
supporting events and outreach of the First Congregational Church. Founded
and run by volunteer members of the congregation, it has been open several
days a week with goods donated by the congregation and by local residents.
Among the items available are antiques, vintage items, collectibles, and
home decor.
According to the staff, “This began as a lark and has become a terrific
resource for neighbors, folks looking for bargains, and the congregation.
It has supported many of our outreach programs locally and around the
world. We thank the community for shopping, donating, and thrifting with
us.”
The Silver Street Thrift Shop is located at Riley Hall, 17 Silver Street in
Hanover, across from the John Curtis Free Library. Hours are Wednesday and
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Parking is always available at the
rear of the hall.
For information, call the church office at 781-826-4762 or e-mail
