Fall Woodland Walk in Hanover
The Hanover Open Space Committee will be offering a guided walk at the
Morrill Allen Phillips Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday morning, October 17
at 9:30 a.m. Follow well-worn trails through the autumn woods behind
historic Fire Station No. 5. See old stone walls, a granite gate, and a
vernal pool. Round trip is approximately a mile and a half. Be prepared for
roots and some wet spots. Enjoy apple cider and donuts post-walk (and great
company!).
Meet at the old Firehouse, 1095 Broadway, in Hanover. Sturdy walking shoes
and insect repellent are recommended.
