Capital Improvement Committee needs you

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

In these times of economic uncertainty, the Town of Hanover’s Capital Improvement Committee is particularly critical to the long term planning of major capital expenses in the town. The Committee solicits and receives capital improvement plans from departments and committees in town, and then reviews them and makes recommendations to the Advisory Committee and the Town for potential funding at Town Meeting.  Every proposed capital outlay involving the acquisition of land or an expenditure of at least $10,000 and having
a useful life of at least three years is reviewed.  If this is an area of interest for you, Town Moderator Doug Thomson would very much like to hear from you at moderator@hanover-ma.gov
