Library summer raffle basket winners

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

On September 8, the winning names for all the great baskets which have been
at the library since Hanover Day (June 20) were pulled. Congratulations to
all of the lucky winners!

Sandra Long won this year’s "Good Life" basket (retail value of $650) which
included 4 tickets to the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker (donated by the Boston
Ballet) and $50 worth of best-selling goods from Trader Joe’s in addition to
a beautiful garden sculpture, Zumba lessons, wine, and more.

Donna Nofi’s name was drawn for the "Hanover" basket which contained a
3-month family membership to the YMCA (thanks to our local YMCA), 5 tickets
to the Patriot Cinema, a Hanover sweatshirt, games, and several gift
certificates (retail value of $685).

Finally, Hannah Condon took home the coveted American Girl doll, Chrissa,
along with some doll clothes, books, and a DVD (retail value of $185).

Many thanks go to all the vendors mentioned above who donated offerings to
the baskets along with much appreciation to the Toy Box, Karen Lee Flowers,
Home Spirits, the Pottery Playce, Storybook Cove, Elizabeth Grady, Panera,
Dunkin Donuts, the Blampieds, Massachusetts Audubon, the South Shore Natural
Science Center, Starland, Rockland Athletic Supplies, and ZYP Fitness Plus.
The Friends also thank the hundreds of patrons who participated in this
great fundraiser by purchasing tickets for $1 each (6 for $5). All proceeds
from this event will benefit future library programs and acquisitions.
