Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Hanover Cultural Council and Hanover Diversity Committee are pleased to
offer a free community concert with the Halalisa Singers (www.halalisa.org
) on Sunday, November 1st at 3:00 p.m. at St.
Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Hanover.
The Halalisa Singers are the greater Boston area’s premier world music
ensemble. Halalisa is the Zulu word for "celebration", and in that spirit,
the Halalisa repertoire includes African, Latin, American Spiritual, Gospel,
Jewish, Folk and Jazz music. The Halalisa Singers are inspired by the
belief that music is a universal language with the power to uplift and unite
us all.
There will be a social hour with refreshments following the concert. Bring
your family and friends for an uplifting afternoon of music filled with joy,
hope and light. The Diversity Committee also welcomes you to bring along a
nonperishable donation for the Hanover Food Pantry.
For more information, please contact St. Andrew’s Church Office at
