Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The community is invited to help sponsor the Hanover Education Foundation’s
annual benefit "A Night at the Races". Enjoy all the anticipation and
excitement of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, March 27, at the Knight of
Columbus Hall in Pembroke. Gather with friends and neighbors to cheer your
favorite horse or jockey to the finish line in the Race for the Roses!
Become a sponsor of one of our pre-recorded horse races today. For a
donation of only $20 you may name a jockey after a favorite teacher or your
very own horse in honor of a student or a special someone. Or, you may wish
to sponsor and name the entire race and all ten horses for a donation of
$150. Sponsorship will be on a first come, first served basis.
All proceeds go to support the Foundation’s Grant Awards Program. Since its
inception, the Foundation has worked to raise more than $200,000 toward
innovative opportunities which benefit children throughout the schools
including: Dirt, TI Smart View, Interwrite Mobi, Document Cameras, Windmill
Workshop, Museum of Science Traveling programs, Rachel’s Challenge, Food
Play, the Clothesline Project., Amazing Hero Art, Lego Robotics, Smart Music

If you are able to become a sponsor, please return your check with the names
of your horse or jockey, no later than March 1, to the: HANOVER FOUNDATION
FOR EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT, and mail to P.O Box 1144, Hanover. Forms are
also available at the John Curtis Free Library. Sponsors will be gratefully
acknowledged in our program booklet. Thank you for your support and please
