SPIRIT OF HANOVER COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
The Spirit of Hanover Community Service Award Committee is proud to announce
that JOANNE B. CURE has been selected as the recipient of the 9th Annual
Spirit of Hanover Community Service Award.
This Award is presented annually to an individual who best exemplifies the
spirit of Hanover by voluntarily giving selflessly of their time, energy and
talent to the Town and its citizens thus enriching our lives, fostering a
true sense of community and inspiring us all to a higher level of service.
During the 40 years she has lived in Hanover, Joan has given her time and
talents in so many ways and has set an example of community service for
others to follow with her efforts on behalf of the Congregational Church,
the Hanover Woman’s Club, the Hanover Arts Festival, the School Bus Safety
Program, the Hanover Bicentennial Committee, the Stetson House, the Hanover
Visiting Nurse Association, and the Hanover Council on Aging.
