to this one. Read on!
Please come to a Yard Sale that our Girl Scout Troop #80337 is having this
Saturday, April 24th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Town Hall Parking
Lot. The yard sale is to raise money for a sister Girl Scout Troop in
Hanover.
The Cardinal Cushing Girl Scout Troop is marching in the Memorial Day Parade
for the first time this year. In all the 25 years or their existence, this
troop has never been able to purchase uniforms for their girls. It appears
that they are not able to use their funds for this designated purpose.
As soon as our Brownie Troop heard about this, we wanted to do something to
help them get their uniforms so they can march proudly in the parade
alongside all of the other troops in Hanover. So, our girls decided to hold
a yard sale to raise money to purchase the 18 sashes, pins and badges to
complete the uniform (approximately $310.00 total).
