Firefighting museum and open space trail walk

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

 

The Hanover Historical Society and the Hanover Open Space
Committee (OSC) will hold an Open House at Station 5 Hanover Firefighting
Museum from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24th.
 Tour both floors of the Museum and view our Vintage Fire Wagon and
National Fireworks display.  Judy Grecco will lead a 2 mile trail walk in
the Morrill Allen Phillips Wildlife Sanctuary, at 2:00 p.m.  The museum
property provides trailhead access to a beautiful and expansive parcel of open
space property.

 

Refreshments will be served.  Event is rain or
shine.  Limited parking is available at the museum located at 1095
Broadway between Cross and Water Streets.

The Hanover OSC was chartered to ensure that the town’s
rural character is maintained and enhanced both through protection of existing
