Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Altrusa International Inc., of
Plymouth County is holding a "Fashion Tea" on Sunday, October 24th
at the Elms Community Center (located on American Elm Drive in Hanover) at 2:00
p.m. Altrusans will model clothes provided by Appleseed’s of Merchant’s
Row in Hanover. Coffee, tea and desserts will be offered during the
Fashion Show. Tickets are available at the door for $20.00. All of
the profits will fund community service projects in the area.
ALTRUSA is a community service
organization of professionals committed to the betterment of their
communities. Their focus is on literacy. On Saturday, October 23rd,
Make A Difference Day,
members from
ten towns in Plymouth County will
donate seven (7) books each for "reluctant" readers (pre-teen and
teen-aged) to their libraries. The books will be presented in Hanover to
the John Curtis Library by Nancy Goldthwait and Susannah Leslie. For more
