Free yoga and open house in the newly renovated Firestation #2!

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

It’s not every day that I send you a e-blast regarding a business in town.
Even though my dad was a small businessman and I absolutely understand the
challenges of running a small business as a result, I have almost always
only used “Around Town on the Web” to promote not-for-profits and municipal
organizations and their events. I’m a firm believer that businesses need
to support business…the B-to-B connection is so important; small
businesses should support for-profit newspapers by advertising there!

But, every now and then, a local business provides a free service to
Hanover residents that is just too good to not share on ATOTW. Because
ultimately, ATOTW is by residents and for residents. So please join me in
supporting a new business in town that is providing a free service to
residents…read on!

Firestation #2 on Broadway will be serving the community once again! The
new yoga studio upstairs is offering four free yoga classes next weekend
(September 8th and 9th) to our community.

Below is the information one of our fellow Hanoverians (thanks, Laura for
sending it along) found about their free classes and meet and greet:

Chakra Power Yoga in Hanover is a sweet little space on the second floor of
the newly renovated Firehouse #2 in Hanover (just off Route 53)!
Please stop by for a demo class or just to say hi and have snacks!
Their practice space is much smaller here than their other studios, so
please pre-register for Grand Opening classes (link below).

Saturday Sept 8th:
9:00 a.m. – Vinyasa Flow class with Nicole
11:00 a.m. – Flow and restore with Kelsey
Open House 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Sunday Sept 9th:
2:00 p.m. – Beginners with Beverly
4:00 p.m. – Restorative with Zarla
Open House 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Here’s the link to register for their free demo classes. Be sure you click
forward to September 8th and 9th and have “Hanover” selected as your
location. https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/LoginLaunch? studioid=177862

For more information, go to http://www.chakrapoweryoga.com/ or contact
Nicole at (617) 833-3273 or chakrapoweryoga@gmail.com . And welcome to
Hanover, Nicole!

One more thing for your list…but it’s worth it!

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Yes, it is a busy time of the year! Summer vacations are winding down and
the kids are headed back to school. Please add one more thing to your list
– remember to vote in the State Primary! Election Day is Tuesday,
September 4th, 2018, and the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. All
Hanover residents vote at Hanover High School in the gym. The closest
parking lot is the one in the back of the school near the stadium.

Want to know what your ballot will look like? Go to:
http://www.sec.state.ma.us/wheredoivotema/bal/MyElectionInfo.aspx and read
up on the candidates before you go.

The right to vote is a cornerstone of our democracy, and men and women have
protested and died to make sure that we will always have that privilege!
See you Tuesday!
