Also, “Faith: A Mother’s Story”, a one woman Advent play created and
performed by Olivia Woodford, will be performed at Lutheran Church of The
Cross (77 Rockland Street) on Saturday December 6th starting at 7:15 p.m.
Experience the First Christmas as never before through the eyes of the
women who were around Mary: her mother Anne; her cousin Elizabeth; Leah of
the House of David; a shepherdess; and Anna, the Seeress of the temple.
Through their encounter with the events and mystery of Jesus’ coming,
they each deal with doubt, disbelief and ultimately joy as their faith is
renewed in God, life and themselves. This play is sponsored by the Hanover
Clergy Association and is open to the community. Suggested donation is
$10.00. For more information, please contact jimdarcy@comcast.net .

And finally, on Saturday, December 13th, Lutheran Church of The Cross (77

Moses – Brazil Mission Trip. This event is open to the community as is
reported to be one of her best concerts. Suggested donation is $10.00.

Forge Pond Park will boast some color – thanks!

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

This just in from the WHGC!

On behalf of the Walnut Hill Garden Club, we would like to thank the
sponsors, participants and supporters who made the Forge Pond Park
Community Bulb Planting on Sunday, October 26th a great success! Both the
club and the Hanover Parks and Recreation Department agree the mutual
planning and investment of time, energy and resources will enhance the
landscape at the park. Sponsors from our Hanover community who provided
welcome refreshments for workers included Dunkin’ Donuts, Shaw’s
Supermarket, Walmart and Donna Fitzgerald. The youth volunteers, families
and residents who came to work alongside our own club members brought lots
of energy and enthusiasm. The 2000 blue, yellow and purple bulbs were
planted in record time. We all look forward to enjoying the results of our
efforts come spring!

Tiziana Polizio and Vera Anderson, Co-Presidents, Walnut Hill Garden Club
