Christmas tree pick-up and recycling

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Hanover Cub Scouts Pack 39 would like to remind all Hanover residents about
their annual Christmas Tree Pick-Up and Recycling Service. The scouts will
take away your discarded Christmas tree on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015. The
requested donation is $10 per tree.

Residents may contact the scouts for tree pickup via email at
christmastreepack39@yahoo.com . Or, if you prefer, you may call
781-422-1386. Include your name, address and phone number in your message.
Trees should be curbside by 8:00 a.m. January 3rd. Please place a check
(payable to Cub Scout Pack 39) in a plastic bag and attach it to the tree.

This event is Pack 39’s annual fundraiser for the Scouts and integrates
community service with environmental awareness. There are several area
businesses that donate their trucks and drivers to assist us in collecting
the trees. The Hanover DPW allows Pack 39 the use of their space and to
bring the trees to them for recycling.

Thank you for supporting Hanover Cub Scouts of Pack 39.

Your input is important! The HCC will be holding a public forum on
Wednesday January 7, 2015 at the John Curtis Library from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30
p.m. to give residents an opportunity to make suggestions on future
projects. You can also give your input by clicking on this link:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/63TBHNM or visiting the John Curtis Library
and filling out the survey provided next to their suggestion box.

With your help, the HCC can provide excellent future programs and events
for our community. For more information or questions please contact Karen
Cass, Hanover Cultural Council Chair, at karencass@comcast.net .
