Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Donations of items are needed for the first annual Yard Sale,
sponsored by Lilly’s Kitty Shelter, to raise money to cover the
shelter’s food and medical bills. The Yard Sale will be held at 51
Laurie Lane in Hanover on Saturday, June 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. Rain date is Saturday, June 25, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Furniture, books, costume jewelry, collectibles, tools, dishes,
clothes, appliances, toys—in short items of any type, except
non-working appliances and old tires, may be left at the shelter on
designated days or by appointment (call 781-826-4429). Donations may
be dropped off on Thursday, June 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or on
Friday, June 10, from 8:00 a.m. through the afternoon.
Items already donated to the shelter sale include an antique 1899 baby
carriage, first edition books, a Walace Nutting, fine china, Thomas
Kinkade lithograph, shoes and handbags and much more; truly
“something for everyone.”
Lilly’s Kitty Shelter currently has several kittens and cats available
for adoption. If you would like a copy of the newsletter, which
