Around Town on the Web announces its archives!

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

And so, with the new year upon us, “Around Town on the Web” hereby offers a terrific new service to Hanover residents.  With special thanks to webmaster Mike Van Lare for his dogged determination and special ability to “get it right”, please read on!

Long-time readers will attest that sometimes the barrage of e-mails from all corners of the earth (even “ATOTW”, gasp!) become overwhelming and unmanageable.  “Delete” is sometimes the best or only option.  I probably average 50 e-mails a day, and truthfully, I agree.  But then, what happens when you want some information that you know you read at some point, but cannot seem to find in the depths of your “deleted items” box?

Mike has developed an “Around Town on the Web” archive system that became active in November and is ready for launch today.  Please take a minute and go to https://atotw.com/archive .  My favorite part is the search function.  Type in a key word and any and all related “ATOTW” postings will pop up.  Been away on vacation and just want to catch up on the news in Hanover?  Click on the dates you missed!  Can’t get to your personal e-mail from work, but want to read the news?  Add https://atotw.com/archive to your “favorites” on your work computer and refer to it any time.  Check it out and let us know your feedback!

For “Around Town on the Web”,

Cathy H-B

“Around Town on the Web” is a community service that has been provided to self-selected residents of the Town of Hanover since the spring of 2004.  If someone forwarded this message to you and you would like to receive these communications directly, please e-mail your first and last name and e-mail address to cathyhb@atotw.com .  If you would like to be removed from this distribution list, please e-mail your request to me at cathyhb@atotw.com .  To search for archived “ATOTW” news, just go to https://atotw.com/archive .
